You are the most important member of your health care team, and you are entitled to choose the most appropriate health care professional to meet your goals

Did you know that all 50 states and the District of Columbia have some form of direct access to a Physical Therapist without a doctors referral? Also, that Utah has the most lenient direct access laws?

Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants are essential professional health care providers who are licensed with the State of Utah, and in other states in which they practice.

Our Physical Therapists have doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy and have been trained to set up an individualized plan to help you reach your personal goals. Your Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant work closely with your physician(s), if needed, to further your care and develop an appropriate plan of care for you.

Did you know Physical Therapy can eliminate pain without medication?

Your Physical Therapist will perform an evaluation to identify current and probable potential problems. In most cases, your physical therapist will find a way for you to live your life easier without the need for pain medication. They will also work with you to set personal goals for your treatment and return to living an active and healthy life.

What are some of the conditions are treated by Physical Therapists:

  • Arthritis
  • Back Pain
  • Balance
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Developmental Delays
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Dislocations
  • Fractures
  • Hand Injuries
  • Headaches
  • Osteoporosis
  • Sports Injuries
  • Stroke
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

What does all this mean for you??

If you are having pain, balance issues, headaches, sports injuries, osteoporosis, etc, and want to skip waiting in a doctors office, call Delta or Fillmore Physical Therapy directly to schedule an evaluation. If it is found that it is best for your condition to consult with a physician, we will help you find the right health care professional for you.
